| Welcome
to the Art School of Salem. My name is Andrew Carr (RISD '06) and I offer
classes in painting, drawing, and etching, tailored to individuals of all
levels. Through training, students will mature into artists well grounded
in history, proficient in technique, analytical of substance, and most importantly,
capable of expression. Classes are ideal for supplementing often limited
elementary and secondary art education and for awakening the abilities of
adults. Classes are held in a fully functioning art studio in downtown Salem,
replete with an etching press, easels, drawing boards, and model paintings.
